BioASQ Workshop @ CLEF 2023

The MedProcNER task is part of the 11th BioASQ Workshop, which will be held as a Lab in CLEF 2023, on September 18-21, 2022, in Thessaloniki (Greece).

BioASQ is a long-running challenge that focuses mostly on biomedical semantic indexing and question answering (QA). The aim of the BioASQ workshop is to push the research frontier towards systems that use the diverse and voluminous information available online to respond directly to the information needs of biomedical scientists. During the workshop, the results of the open BioASQ challenge will also be presented.

The CLEF Initiative (Conference and Labs of the Evaluation Forum) is a combination of conferences and labs that, since the year 2000, focuses on the development and evaluation of information access systems with an emphasis on multilingual and multimodal information with various levels of structure.
